Use: Advanced cover meter based on the new generation Profometer touchscreen allowing full data review directly on the instrument. Lightweight IP 67 universal probe with detachable scan cart and spot functionality for measurements where space is limited.
The Profometer PM-600 is a cover meter that is ideal in accurate and non-destructive gauging of concrete covers and rebar diameters together with the spotting of rebar positions. It utilizes an eddy current principle together with a pulse induction as its gauging method to spot rebar positions.
Profometer PM-600 and PM-630 come along with an all-in-one Universal Probe complemented by a detachable cart for smooth measuring with an on-board wireless path measuring system. The integrated spot probe is especially designed for measurements in corners where space is limited and for areas with congested rebar arrangements. Control buttons and LEDs directly on the probe support the user during the process.
The high resolution and design-protected color Profometer Touchscreen allows best possible measuring and analysis of the statistical data for an entire working day (battery lifetime > 8h). The housing is specially designed to be used on-site in harsh environments also including a carrying strap, an integrated stand and a sunshield cover.
The entry model Profometer PM-600
Profometer PM-600 is the entry level model and allows precise and non-destructive detection of rebar locations and measurement of the concrete cover and rebar diameters.
The instrument is the perfect tool to locate rebars before drilling holes, measuring the concrete cover depth, for acceptance inspection of cover after formwork is removed and for quality assurance in mass production of prefabricated concrete elements. It also supports statistical evaluation of cover according to the DBV Guideline from the German Society for Concrete and Construction Technology. A visual assistance for speed and signal strength control supports the user during the measuring process.
The statistics and snapshot views allow comprehensive review of the measured data directly on the screen.
Profometer PM-630 especially suitable for line scanning and large areas
The Profometer PM-630 advanced concrete scan cover meter is a sophisticated instrument extending the application range of the Profometer PM-600 with the Line and Area Scan Modes and an extensive choice of statistical views.
It is specially suited to measuring large areas, long lines or when comprehensive reporting is required. For example when inspecting tunnels, retaining walls, concrete slab soffits, bridge slabs or dams.
The PM-Link software allows the download of the saved data to a PC for analysis and export to third party applications. Both Profometer PM-600 and PM-630 are future proof investments as direct upgrade possibilities to upcoming 2D-Imaging and Corrosion Data Fusion Profometer products will be available.
